πŸ“’ Phone Service Interruption Notice Bell phone πŸ“’ Phone Service Interruption Notice Bell phone lines are currently experiencing an outage, which is also affecting KNET office phone services. Because we operate in remote northern communities, we rely on shared telecommunications infrastructure to keep services affordable and sustainable. When there are disruptions on that network, it can unfortunately impact our services as well. This is outside of our control. At this time, we don’t have a confirmed timeline for when phone service will be restored. We are monitoring the situation closely and will share updates as soon as they become available. 🌐 Broadband Upgrade Project Complete in 18 Firs 🌐 Broadband Upgrade Project Complete in 18 First Nations We’re proud to share that the NWOBEI broadband upgrade project is now complete in 18 First Nations across Northern Ontario! Homes within the project coverage areas now have access to upgraded broadband speeds of at least 50/10 Mbps β€” with service guaranteed for the next five years. These upgrades mean stronger, more reliable, community-owned internet services made possible through new head-end equipment and backbone improvements β€” with communities now accessing up to 10 Gbps at the core. A huge thank you to the communities, leadership, and local technicians who worked alongside KNET throughout this project. Your collaboration made this possible!
