🌺 Remembrance Day – November 11 Today, and e 🌺 Remembrance Day – November 11

Today, and every day, we pause to remember. ❀️

We honour all who have served β€” past and present β€” including the Indigenous veterans and soldiers from across the North whose courage and sacrifice have protected our freedoms.

From the smallest northern communities to the largest cities, may we never forget the price of peace and the strength of those who fought for it.

On November 8th, we honoured and remembered the First Nations, Inuit, and MΓ©tis veterans who courageously served in the Canadian Armed Forces.

Their bravery and sacrifice, often made without recognition or equality at home, have safeguarded not only this land but the generations who continue to walk it today.

We remember their service, their strength, and their stories β€” and we commit to keeping their legacy alive in our communities.

βœ… K-Net customers will NOT lose service.
They will continue to roam on Rogers’ strengthened 2G network without interruption.

There will be no immediate disruption for customers relying on cross-network service.

βœ… Future upgrades are underway.
K-Net is actively preparing for LTE and VoLTE compatibility to bring faster, more reliable service across northern First Nations.

β€œThrough these negotiations, K-Net ensured our communities will remain connected. But long-term, we must keep investing in community-owned infrastructure,” said K-Net.

Reliable connectivity is essential for health, safety, education, and everyday life β€” and K-Net remains committed to ensuring no one is left disconnected.
